About MSA

The Mountaintop Soccer Association was created in 1989 as a non-profit organization headquartered in Oakland, MD. It is affiliated with and guided by the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association as well as other national and international agents of soccer.

The founding Executive Committee enacted a Constitution that defined the purpose of MSA as follows:

“The Association was created and continues to exist by utilizing the great game of soccer to provide opportunities for its members and supporters to:
a. Develop self-confidence through improving personal skills.
b. Experience and understand the life-long benefits derived from teamwork, loyalty, and maintaining commitments.
c. Develop good sportsmanship and character through learning how to win graciously and lose with dignity.
d. Understand the rules and tactics of the most widely played sport in the world.
e. Enjoy an energizing form of healthful recreation as either a participant or a spectator.”

After 30+ years, this purpose still stands true for the Mountaintop Soccer Association.

MSA has 5 divisions of play including U6, U8, U10, U12, & U15.
